"We stayed in the apartment during the summer and had a great time mountain biking and hiking. The apartment was very comfortable and spacious for the two of us. The balcony gives a great view of the mountains and you can hear the river in the distance. The supermarket had loads of choice and we were greeted by friendly people everywhere we went. Enjoyed sunny days clear blue skies, Just booked the apartment again for later this year, for a winter holiday this time!" Aug 2006
"I have to say that the apartment was ideal for our purposes and so convenient for everything (supermarket, railway station, launderette, shops/restaurants and most importantly the weather forecast at the tourist office).We had a great time. The flat was a convenient base not only for climbing/walking trips in the local area, but also for trips into Switzerland. Highlights of the holiday were ascents of the Aiguille du Tour (from Champex) and the Bishorn (from Zinal) and a traverse of the Vallee Blanche (from the Aiguille du Midi). Amongst other things, we also had a day trip to Zermatt and went on a number of walks directly from the flat." Sept 2004
"We have just returned from a wonderful week in Argentiere. Your apartment was perfect for us and what a view! We completed most of the walks we had planned including your recommendation of Aiguille du Midi, then Plan d'Aiguille-Grand Balcon Nord - Montenvers which was great. "Just a short note to let you know the apartment was excellent, left it as we found it, had a great week, weather was good did loads of stuff, although Mont Blanc won the day again, got avalanched on halfway up the north face of Mont Maudit, the cursed mountain, may return in september.
